Daniel Ding is the Chief Partner and Managing Director of Shanghai Joius Law Firm. He has been  practicing for 23 years and has rich experienced in areas such as finance & securities law, commercial dispute resolution and government affairs. In 1998, he became was the first college student in Shanghai to represent Shanghai citizens in court proceedings. Now, Daniel mainly provides legal services to small and medium enterprises, financial institutions and government agencies.

Mr. Ding is a council member of the Shanghai Bar Association, director of the Securities Research Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, and associate director of the Planning and Rules Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association. He is also an arbitrator of the Shanghai Arbitration Commission, arbitrator of the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center), member of the Jing'an District CPPCC and associate director of the Economic Professional Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Youth Federation, vice chairman of the Shanghai Jing'an District Youth Federation, adjunct professor of East China University of Political Science and Law and distinguished professor of the Law School, and off-campus professor of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

Mr. Ding's publications include "Practice of Offshore Banks on Cross-Border Financing and Guarantee to Chinese Onshore Entities" (co-authored with Anita Chen), "The Lawyer’s Practice in Securities" (executive editor), and "Taiwan Region of China Cross-Border Debt Collection to Mainland China Practice and Successful Case Analysis" (editor)
